Urban Decay All Nighter

Seen this product time and time again and heard an even amount of reviews all good and not so good. My T-zone is very oily and Im always looking for things to try to help reduce my oil. I just want to find a product that works so I can be done with this search.

Price: $10.00 mini version 0.51 US fl oz

Pros:  Helped keep my makeup on without melting in this hot summer.

Cons: Still left my face oily and did not see a change in controlling my oil.

This product is ok and will purchase the mini version to use it from time to time to help my makeup stay on longer but not for controlling oil.

Mat Velvet +

This Mat Velvet foundation is the all rave right now. I recently started getting into Makeup Forever and really like their products (even though they cost and arm and a leg) but it is very high-quality. I honestly do not mind spending extra $ for products if they work well for my needs.

Price: $40

Pros: Easy to work when blending. Dries to a matte finish. Also, Helps control some of my oil but not all. Overall helps keep my face MAT but  is a medium coverage nevertheless can build to full coverage and did not break me out.

Cons: Price, other than that will be my go to foundation.

Will be purchasing  this product again and just use it on special occasions.

Tangle Tamer

I have been meaning to try this brush for a while now but haven't done so because I just couldn't justify spending $20 for a brush. So I went to Sallys Beauty Salon to purchase some items and came across the same brush i wanted to purchase but in a mini version and for only $5.50 I decided to give it a try and finally but my curiosity to rest (werher it was going to work or not) while still saving me $15 is great :0

Pros:  Small fits in your hand. Brushes hair without pulling or damaging. Also, massages scalp.
Cons: None :)

This is another item added to my Holy Grail!

Make up Brush Cleaner

I heard about this product on you tube (as always) by one of my favorite gurus and picked it up at my local Target. The price was $13.99 if I remember correctly which is not bad compared to higher end makeup cosmetics and you get a lot more product.

Pros: I like that a little goes a long way! This product leaves your brushes squeaky clean and will last you a long time. I have been having this product for about 5 months now and it is still not even half way gone. Surprisingly because I usually wash my brushes once a week so that's good.there is no bad feedback from me on this product because it is great!

Cons: None :)

Ulta Beauty Blender Review

           I had so much hope for this product but this product was not what I expected.

Pros:  The only good comment for this product would be the $5 price but overall horrible product if you wanna replace for a beauty blender.

Cons:  The sponge itself was not soft and very hard to work with. It does not absorb any water whatsoever and is very stiff. This is not even a close comparison to the beauty blender. The sponge seemed like all it did was absorb your liquid foundation and did not have any bounce when applying foundation to your face.

I will NOT be purchasing this product ever again. The beauty blender is worth the $20 in the end leaving your foundation looking flawless ever so effortlessly def a must have in my makeup routine!

MUFE Aqua Liner Review

So i been on the search for the perfect eyeliner that will last all day and not smudge. I have tried different products and brands but none have worked for me. The problem is that my eye lid is very small and the upper part of my eye lid hovers over the liner part of my eye and makes the eyeliner smudge on the top part of my upper eye lid and makes a mess for my eyeshadow. So i always have to look for something that is water proof and smudge free.

Pros: Stays on and does not smudge or rub off on my lid (which is a miracle!)

Cons: $25 which is kind of pricey but it does what it says its gona do. 

Verdict:  1 more Holy Grail to add to my list and will be my go to eyeliner for life!

Reebok Easy tone

These are my new gym shoes which I adore! They are comfortable and very light weight. It has cushion on the bott of the shoes which makes it an easier more comfy run :)

MUFE Eyebrow Corrector

This sat was my first time at the Tyler Mall and enjoyed my time there. I went to Sephora and came across the Makeup Forever line and saw the brow corrector that i have been wanting to try but would always forget about. After careful research and plenty of reviews i purchased this product for $19. I had really high hopes for this product because my normal routine for my brows which was draw with pencil and setting with a shadow was no longer working for me. By the end of the day my brows were light in color and shadow was gone due to my Oily Oily skin. So I am always in the search for products that will help control oil and help you stay Matte. I really hoped this product would be one of my Holy Grails atlas for my brows to help stay on!

Pros: Stays on and will not come off! Love that a little goes a long way.

Cons: Can be hard to work with because once it dries its on and not coming off!

Verdict: Love this product and it is now one of my Holy Grail for my Brows so Happy.

My search is on for more Holy Grails to control Oily Skin.

24 Hour Shadow Review

(Left to right): Audacious Asphalt and Fierce & Tangy

Swatches

Pros: Stays on and will not come off! The swatches shown above would not come off with rubbing with water. So i used makeup remover and they did come off but i was amazed how they stayed on.

Cons: Can be hard to work with because once it dries on your lid its difficult to try and blend. I had to use mostly my fingers to get the product on my lid but can be a messy process.

Verdict: Love the colors and will be purchasing the other colors in the collection!

EOS Shaving Cream Review

I never really spent money on shaving cream because i use my bar of soap to get the job done but sometimes it would leave my skin very dry. I came across this shaving cream while shopping at Target. It was pretty pricey for me (since i do not buy this on a regular basis) if i can remember right i think the regual price was $4.99 or $5.99 around that price range. If i do buy shaving cream i do not spend more than $3.00. It claims to leave your skin moisterized and radiant.

Pros: Leaves your skin moisterized and you can use it dry or wet.

Cons:  The price is a deal breaker for me and sometimes when using it dry the hair gets stuck in the razor but can easily be cleaned.

Verdict: I would purchase once in a while (when on sale) :)

The Body Shop Oil Balance Shampoo Review

The body shop is one of my go to stores and even more when they have sales. I have oily hair and hate the fact that i have to wash my hair everyday (which damages your hair). They had these sample shampoos and conditioners for sale for $1. I asked someone that worked there and they told me this shampoo and conditioner are very popular and its specially made to help control oily hair. I thought i would give it a try since they were on sale and did not have to spend a lot of money to purchase the full size bottles.

Pros: Leaves your hair squeaky clean with a fresh clean smell :)

                                  

                               Cons: The Shampoo left my hair a bit on the dry side but i guess its good to keep oil away. The conditioner was very watered down and not very moisterizing at all which is a down fall for me.

                        Verdict: Would purchase again but not the conditioner. Keeps my hair oil free

I love this brush. I saw it at sephora after browsing around the store and decided to give it a try. I use it on a daily basis in the morning. This brush is perfect for using in the morning because it is soft and cleans ur face without being so harsh.It gets the job done gently  :)

Ulta Haul!

So i picked up 4 new 24 Hour Color Tattoo!!

So these eyeshadows are all the rave and i decided to pick some up and give them a try. I went to my local Ulta and had my $3.50 off coupon when you spend $10 :) That was a good start and little did i know they had a sale buy two and get one free :) So i wanted to get the whole collection but these are the only colors i got my hands on because these were the very last ones on the shelf! Overall a good buy because i spent a total of $18 for all these eyeshadows when the price of one is 6.99 each. I am happy with my buy & i will be giving a review soon!

LA SPLASH

I picked this up Ulta and Love Love Love this product for Glitter. Holds glitter in place and will not move or fall off. I usually use glitter on my eyelids to give a pop to my eye look and this product helps by making it stay in place. I recommend this product for anything GLITTER!

*BIORE* Pore Strips

After looking up reviews iI decided to give Biore Pore Strips a try. It strips off your black heads and white heads. They are easy to use and not painful at all. I bought them at ULTA  for $7.49 and bought a lipgloss so i can use my $3.50 off coupon when you spend $10 .They work! Over all I will definitely be using these trips once a week and it is a good product :)
